Mr. Albert Dufuor Chairman)

Born in the Western Region of Ghana in 1958, Mr. Dufuor brings extensive strategic management and technical experience as Board Chairman of the Public Procurement Authority. He is a Product of Achimota Secondary School, Accra, the Ghana Military Academy; Techiman He holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon and an MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. Mr. Dufuor has served and still serve in several Boards in Ghana. He is a Member of the Ghana Institute of Management.

Mr.Matthew Agbesi (Deputy Chairman)

Mr.Agbesi is responsible for co-ordination of client services and management of the commission. He holds a B.Sc. Administration (Accounting), from the School of Administration, University of Ghana, MBA (Finance & Marketing), from the Iran Centre for Management Studies, Tehran and is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).

His areas of expertise include privatization & commercialization of State Owned Enterprises, valuation of businesses, audit and tax, organizational design & methods restructuring, organizational processes re-engineering, fund management advice and investment analysis. Mr.Agbesi experience spans a number of special committees including the Consultancy Selection Committee, Structural Adjustment Programme Secretariat and the Team of Experts for the Re-Negotiation of the Volta River Authority Project.

Engr. Ibrahim Hassan (Executive Director-Projects)

Engr. Ibrahim Hassan is responsible for co-ordination of client services and management of the commission and also direcor of projects. He holds a B.Sc. Administration (Accounting), from the School of Administration, University of Ghana, MBA (Finance & Marketing), from the Iran Centre for Management Studies, Tehran and is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).

Mr. Peter Manu experience spans a number of special committees including the Consultancy Selection Committee, Structural Adjustment Programme Secretariat and the Team of Experts for the Re-Negotiation of the Volta River Authority Project.

Mrs. Elizabeth Gyimah (General Secretary)

Mrs. Gyimah is an accomplished administrator with a comprehensive blend of hands-on professional and academic experience. She is a devoted educationist and an effective institutional manager. She is the Vice President of Menim College in charge of Administration. Mrs.Gyimah holds a BA Degree in Geography from the University of Ghana, a Certificate in Procurement of Goods & Services from the Ghana Institute of Management & Administration (GIMPA) and a Teachers Certificate from Women's Training College, Tamale.

She has participated in several seminars and workshops in project management, the procurement of consultancy services, stores management, supplies & logistics management and procurement reform. Mrs. Gyimah previously served in various positions in the Ghana Education Service (GES) as the National Director, Secondary Education Division (2004 – 2005), National Director, Supplies & Logistics Division (1999 – 2004), National Coordinator, GES/World Food Program.

Mrs. Gyimah is a Member of the Ministerial Tender Review Committee, Ministry of Transportation and Chairperson of the Capacity Development/Human Resource (CD/HR) Committee of the Board, Public Procurement Authority.

Mustapha Hamid (Executive Director-Finance & Administration)

Mustapha Hamid is the Executive Chairman Ohene Maki Group Ltd. and Abujah Development Company Ltd. He is also President of the Guan Congress, Chairman, Customary Land Secretariat (CLS) Management Board, Bole Traditional Area. Mustapha Hamid is a Banker by profession. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers and Associate Member of International Accounts. He has worked in the capacity of Accountant and Manager in the following Banks from 1970 – 1980: National Midland Bank; Ghana Commercial Bank, Makola, Osu, Korle-Bu and the Head Office branches in Ghana.

He also served as Board Member, Northern Regional Development Corporation (NRDC) from 1979 -1981; a Member of the National Media Commission from 1992 – 1996. He is currently The Board Chairman of Kanokoli Rural Bank and Vice Chairman of the Buwuuloso Rural Bank Board. He has wide international experience in issues relating to contracts, tenders and procurement. He is the Executive Director-Finance & Administration of the committee

Gideon Ocloo (Head-Procurement Unit)

Gideon Ocloo is the Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Division at the Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) from the University of Ghana and a Master of Law Degree (LLM) from Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA. He has been a member of the Ghana Bar Association since 1981, and is also licensed to practice law in the State of New York, USA.

Gideo Ocloo has worked in both the USA and Ghana, and has several years of experience as a Company Lawyer, Legal Consultant and in regulatorycompliance management. One of her prime responsibilities at the Ministry of Finance is the supervision of Value for Money Audits onsingle sourced contracts under Ghana's Procurement laws, which has achieved significant savings for the Government of Ghana.

Mr. Solomon Halenze (Head-Internal Audit Department)

Mr. Halenze is currently Chief Economics Officer and Director of the Public Investment Division of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. As Director for the Public Investment division, he is responsible for ensuring the provision of strategic guidance to national investment and project development to provide efficiency in public investment decisions. Mr. Halenze holds a Master's degree (MSc.) in Financial Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and a Master's degree (MA) in Economic Policy Management from the University of Ghana, Department of Economics. He obtained her first degree - BA (Hons.) Economics with French from the University of Science & Technology, Department of Social Sciences, Kumasi, Ghana (1980 – 1985). Professionally he has specialized in aid and debt management techniques that enhance aid effectiveness.

Mr. Halenze has extensive experience and has consulted for several organisations and countries in effective aid and debt management training and techniques and has also provided support and advisory services to countries including Cameroun, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Suriname, Guyana, Zambia, Uganda, the Gambia and Sierra Leone. He served on the board of National Investment bank from July 1998 to August 2001 and was involved in the financial restructuring of City Express Company Ltd. and the Omnibus Services Limited from 1995 to 1999. Currently she also serves on the Board of Directors of SIC Life Limited.
